Mark Stephens
Managing Partner and CEO


A former Aon executive, Mark was the CEO of Aon RiskLabs and Managing Director of Aon Value Exchange. He has extensive experience in developing pricing strategies that incorporate the economic capital costs derived from risk. He was a member of Aon's National Service Board, Enterprise Risk Management Practice Council and the Financial Institution Global Practice Group. Mark received his B.S. in Finance from Indiana University. He has participated in MBA graduate studies at Northwestern Kellogg School, Duke Fuqua School of Business, and Butler University.


R. Paul Maddock
Executive Partner


Senior Executive/Subsidiary Officer at a Fortune 10 company, where he demonstrated leading-edge innovation in transforming complex organizations into world-class business teams and processes for managing business risks. His achievements included competitively superior cost and income results; sustainable product/process cost improvements on a worldwide scale; measurable improvements in complex, multinational operations—internal and external resources; and resolution of complex financial, legal and regulatory issues in support new business opportunity.

More recently, as a senior executive with Aon Corporation, he developed partnership models for integrating external and internal service resources on a global basis. Paul received “MBA 2000” post graduate training at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. He received his Juris Doctorate from The National Law Center at George Washington University; Washington, D.C. and his B.A. from Brigham Young University; Provo, UT.


Ron Stasch, CPCU, ARM
Executive Advisor


Mr. Stasch has held various senior insurance/risk management positions with extensive international experience during his forty year career. He also has first-hand knowledge of captive insurance company operations having been on the boards of captives domiciled in Vermont, Bermuda, and Guernsey.

During his career, he was active in a variety of external risk management activities, including having served as President of the National Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). In 2003, he received the Goodell Award, the highest award given by the National RIMS organization.

He taught insurance and risk management courses for 17 years at various universities. Stasch served on risk management advisory boards for a number of insurance companies and brokerage firms including AIG, Arkwright, FM Global, Aon and Willis. He has been a long-time member of RIMS, the Society of CPCU, MAPI and the M200.


Jane Alexander
Senior Consultant


As virtual CTO to the Great Lakes Science Center she assessed and developed a comprehensive IT strategic plan, implemented and managed the project team during the upgrade of the technology infrastructure and increased the use of the ultra broadband network. While consultant to the Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve University she directed all operational and IT strategic efforts and selected appropriate strategies to deliver web-based instructional content.

Formerly the Director of Columbia University’s Distance Education program (CVN), Jane managed all aspects of the program as well as developed university-wide resources for instructional technology and methodology. Ms. Alexander received her MS in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University.


Christine Qiu
Risk Analyst


Christine assists clients with quantitative analysis for individual risks, correlations of risks and portfolio’s of risks. She is an expert at risk scoring, weightings, distributions, simulations, stress testing and scenario analysis. Previously, she was employed at the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China in Qingdao, China and at Platinum Reinsurance in New York.

Christine received her Master of Science in Economics prior to receiving her Master of Science in Risk Management at the New York College of Insurance. She is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
